Armenia: EU4Dialogue programme opens two youth centres in Tavush region

[post_audio_speech]

On 26 September, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), in partnership with the Civil Youth Centre and Koti Development Team, officially opened two new youth centres in Armenia’s Tavush region, as part of the EU-funded EU4Dialogue project.

These centres – in Berkaber and Koti settlements – will provide a safe, secure, and inclusive space for up to 400 young people, helping them grow both personally and professionally.

They will promote professional development and workforce competitiveness, increase awareness of crisis response and evacuation efforts, and engage young citizens in the community.

The Koti Youth Centre is a rapid response hub, offering non-formal education and critical crisis response skills to about 300 youth from nearby border villages. The Berkaber Youth Learning Hub has already hosted four training courses for youth aged 14-30, including women and persons with disabilities.
