EU4Environment: consultancy services to support nature restoration and enhance community benefits in Moldova


The World Bank, one of the EU4Environment partners, seeks a consultancy to evaluate the nature restoration potential of Moldova, focusing on forests and wetlands, and to engage with local communities in pilot areas for forest restoration. 

The Consultant will analyse Moldova’s nature restoration potential for forests and wetlands and assist local communities in formalising reforestation and developing forest management plans to promote biodiversity and sustainable ecosystems.

The Consultant should have expertise in sustainable natural resource management, particularly forest and wetland restoration, knowledge of ecosystem-based approaches to conservation and management, experience in Moldova, strong analytical and report-writing skills, and proficiency in Romanian and English.

The deadline for applications is 9 January.
