Energy Community Summer School invites students and young professionals from Eastern Partner countries – no tuition fee!


The 9th edition of the Energy Community Summer School, organised by the Energy Community, which is co-chaired by the European Commission, will take place from 19 to 27 July, at the Faculty of Maritime Studies Kotor, University of Montenegro, Podgorica. 

The programme offers a multi-disciplinary, hands-on programme focused on energy sectors in transition led by top professionals and academics. 

The School will last one week, from 19 to 26 July 2025.

The call is open to highly motivated postgraduate students (masters or PhD), researchers from all energy-related disciplines, young professionals from governmental institutions, companies, think tanks and NGOs, etc. Students participating in the Summer School will have a chance to earn 3 ECTS points.

Applicants must be up to 35 years of age (applicants should be born in 1990 or later), fluent in written and spoken English, and a citizen of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, or Ukraine. 

No tuition fee is required. The Energy Community Secretariat covers all programme-related costs, including lectures, accommodation, excursions, and most meals. The only expense for selected participants is the travel cost.

The deadline for applications is 31 March.

The previous edition of the Energy Community Summer School took place at the Technical University of Moldova in Chisinau last July.
