Youth aged 14-24 with solutions to pressing global issues invited to join #YCM Challenge 2025

The #YCM Challenge, an international youth initiative, invites young people (aged 14–24) from all over the world to design and pitch their solutions to pressing global issues.

The activity is co-funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ programme.

The #YCM Challenge starts with a series of dialogue groups on three key global challenges identified by youth (Sustainability, Education or Human Rights). Following the dialogue groups, participants form international teams (of at least two people) with likeminded youth, develop innovative solutions to the identified problems at a fast pace, and present them to an international jury of experts.

In the last phase – #YCM in Action – participants receive mentoring to start implementing their solutions in one or several locations. Best ideas will get seed funding up to €400, designed to help support the development and implementation of your project or prototype.

The #YCM Challenge 2025 kicks off on 25 April. The final event is scheduled for 16 May.
