Juan trained as a marine scientist and holds two master’s degrees in EU & International Studies and Diplomacy & International Relations. He is now a policy officer, aiming to build a multidimensional profile. Having volunteered internationally and studied in Nice, Tunis, Dakar, Banjul, Istanbul and Yerevan, he has also become Director of Media for Equipo Europa, Spain’s biggest pro-European youth association. Communication and sustainability are two other areas that interest Juan, so much so that he won the Best Diplomat and Best Delegate at the International ISCAE UNFCCC simulation of Casablanca award, as well as the Young Climate Innovator scholarship (World Bank) & Climate Reality Leader (The Climate Reality Project). He is looking forward to becoming an engine of change!
