House of Europe and New York Film Academy: post-production course and film festival strategy workshop for Ukrainians filmmakers
The EU-funded ‘House of Europe’ programme, in partnership with New York Film Academy, will deliver a comprehensive post-production course and film festival strategy workshop targeted at Ukrainian industry professionals.
The course will take place on 17 and 18 September, via Zoom, in English with Ukrainian translation.
Participants will take part in a two-day intensive training, which will focus on practical aspects of managing post-production processes and include a Q&A with a special industry guest. The course will also feature a workshop on film festival strategies and best practices.
The opportunity is offered by the New York Film Academy (NYFA), a leading American private university founded in 1992, in partnership with Netflix.
The course will benefit Ukrainian producers, line producers, post-production producers, directors, assistant editors, and editors who have at least one credit in a fiction feature, short film, or series. The candidates should be 18+ years old and be citizens of Ukraine, residing in Ukraine or having left in 2022.
The deadline for applications is 5 June.
