House of Europe: Digital Labs for educators from south of Ukraine

The EU-funded project ‘House of Europe’ is launching a free course – Digital Labs for educators from the south of Ukraine exploring the rich diversity of peoples and cultures in the region.

The course is scheduled from 3 to 13 July and will be conducted online with a one-day offline pitching in Kyiv (organisers cover the round-trip tickets, accommodation, and meals).

The programme offers 15+ hours of practical lectures where educators will learn how to nurture unity and diversity, challenge prejudice and colonial narratives, go beyond the boundaries of formal education, and manage projects.

The participants will also have two personal mentoring sessions with methodology developers, professors, and teachers from the EU, UK, and Ukraine.

The programme also offers an opportunity to receive up to €500 for professional development.

Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate equivalent to 30 hours of training (1 ECTS credit).

The Lab will benefit class teachers and teachers of humanities, who have Ukrainian citizenship or residency permit and 6+ months of experience. Candidates should come from Crimea, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kherson, or Zaporizhzhia Oblast and work with students coming from these regions.

The deadline for applications is 30 May.
