Volunteering project in children’s day care centre in Germany
The KinderKiste day care centre in Hammelburg, Germany, invites young volunteers from across Europe, including Armenia, Ukraine and Moldova, to work with schoolchildren aged 6-14, between October 2025 and August 2026.
The deadline for applications is 8 June 2025.
The centre offers after school activities, homework support and a hot meal. The main aim of the institution is to help children learn in a creative manner and teach them active time management. For this purpose, the centre offers creative, sports, practical and household-related activities.
The volunteer will receive a room in a flat in Hammelburg, pocket money, money for food, a German language course, insurance, and reimbursement for the international travel costs (both ways). They will also be offered pedagogical, organisational and personal support.
The day care centre is looking for someone open-minded, responsible, and who enjoys working with children.
The volunteering is organised under the European Solidarity Corps, which creates opportunities for young people aged 18-30 to engage in solidarity activities abroad or in their country in projects that benefit communities.
