The report “Women and Children with Disabilities in Georgia: An Overview of the Data” presents a comprehensive analysis of the challenges faced by women and children with disabilities across multiple sectors in Georgia, including demographics, education, employment, healthcare, social protection, and safety. Drawing from available data sources, the report highlights persistent inequalities and data gaps while providing targeted recommendations for improving evidence generation and ensuring inclusive policies. This publication was developed by UN Women and UNICEF under the UN Joint Programme “Transforming Social Protection for Persons with Disabilities in Georgia,” funded by the Joint SDG Fund.
