Just Transition Young Voices Awards 2025 open for applications until 28 July

The Energy Community Secretariat, in cooperation with Bankwatch, CAN Europe, the CLEW Network, and the Regional Youth Cooperation Office, has launched the Just Transition Young Voices Awards 2025.

This initiative invites young people aged 18-30 from Ukraine, Georgia, Moldova or the Western Balkans, to share compelling stories about how their communities are navigating the shift to a greener, fairer economy.

The organisers are looking for original, fact-based articles (700–1100 words) in English that explore the challenges and solutions surrounding inclusive and equitable energy transitions.

Three winners and contributions will be awarded with:

  • a one-month paid internship at the Energy Community Secretariat in Vienna;
  • a field mission on energy transition in the Western Balkans with Bankwatch;
  • a fully covered Climate Reporting Training with CAN Europe in Ohrid (1-3 September 2025).

Winning articles will be featured on Balkan Green Energy News, shared across partner platforms, and presented at the Energy Community Just Transition Forum 2025.

The deadline for applications is 28 July.
