Information Resilience Camp for young Moldovans
The Media-Guard Association, Moldova, invites Moldovan youth to sign up for the Information Resilience Camp, organised from 1 to 3 August 2025 near Chișinău, with the financial support of the European Union.
The intense three-day camp will unite young leaders who want to get involved in combating disinformation and promoting European values in their communities.
Participants will learn, connect with other active young people from across the country and become part of the national network of ‘Disinfo-fighters’ – young people ready to educate and inspire their peers in the fight against online manipulation.
Young people will learn how to recognise and debunk fake news, what digital tools and techniques can be used to verify information, how to effectively communicate democratic values and the right to information, and how to develop their own mini media literacy campaign.
The training and professional guidance will be provided by experts in the fight against disinformation, investigative journalists with experience in documenting and writing about disinformation, and peer-to-peer education facilitators.
The call is open to young people aged 16 to 30 from all regions of Moldova. The candidates can be students, young teachers, bloggers, content creators or leaders in their circles, active in youth centres, NGOs, civic groups, initiative teams or local activism.
The organisers offer transport, accommodation, meals, and training materials.
To apply, please fill out this online form. The deadline for applications is 25 July.
