CREAPOLIS invites Ukrainians for fully covered course in Italy on post-war recovery
Experienced Ukrainian professionals engaged in community and civic development through culture, education, innovation, or entrepreneurship are invited to apply for a one-week immersive course – the second edition of CREAPOLIS.
The course will take place from 26 October to 11 November in Matera, a UNESCO World Heritage city that has transformed cultural heritage into a driver of local innovation. With a focus on post-war recovery and regional revitalisation, participants will explore how innovative strategies from Southern Italy can be adapted to the Ukrainian context.
This edition is organised by b.creative, a Brussels-based international network that supports creative entrepreneurship, in collaboration with Consorzio Materahub (Materahub), a leading organisation that leverages innovation, and cross-sector entrepreneurship to foster community activation and regional growth. Materahub is co-funded by the European Union.
During one week in Matera, the participants will gain practical tools and collaborative methodologies and exchange with local experts and European peers. All travel, accommodation, and programme costs are covered.
The call is open to Ukrainian civil servants and local policymakers, educators, researchers, and social innovators, cultural and creative entrepreneurs, and community organisers and local development actors. Applicants should demonstrate clear motivation, relevant experience, and a commitment to applying insights from CREAPOLIS to their local Ukrainian context.
The deadline for applications is 11 August.
