House of Europe: course on audio walks on Jewish heritage of Ukrainian cities
The EU-funded ‘House of Europe’ programme invites anyone in Ukraine interested in the Jewish history to take part in a course to create an audio walk inspired by the Jewish heritage of Ukrainian cities.
The audio tour will allow the audience to peek into the everyday life, history and former residents of the buildings — and see past and present events through their eyes. To make the story truly engaging, interactive formats will be used to involve the audience in the places they are walking through.
The course consists of three online workshops (14 September, 28 September, and 5 October) and one offline pitching in Kyiv on 12 October. The organisers will cover travel and meal expenses.
The deadline for applications is 1 September.
This event is part of the Cultural Transformation Lab — a series of practical education and networking events aimed at supporting Ukrainian cultural managers, civil society, and cultural actors residing outside large cities and regional centres in times of war. The Lab is carried out by Goethe-Institut Ukraine and is part of the EU-funded ‘House of Europe’ programme.
