Armenia: local residents visit EUMA headquarters during Open Day in Yeghegnadzor

On 6 September, the European Union Mission in Armenia (EUMA) welcomed hundreds of local residents and community officials to its headquarters in Yeghegnadzor for an Open Day event aimed at deepening connections with the local community.

Guests were invited to tour the EUMA headquarters, located in the former university building. Local residents had a chance to meet with EUMA mission members to learn more about the Mission’s work.

The event also celebrated cultural exchange, with a performance from the local Armat Dance Studio.

“I want to express my heartfelt appreciation for the hospitality the Mission has received during its two and a half years in the region,” EUMA Head of Mission Markus Ritter said. “Yeghegnadzor has become our home and we have formed strong bonds with the residents.”

EUMA looks forward to hosting more similar events in the future, the Mission said in a press release.
