Horizon Europe announces high-level information session in Armenia
The Horizon Europe initiative, funded by the European Union, will hold a high-level Information Event on 22 October, 2025, in Yerevan, Armenia. The event will demonstrate Armenia’s growing engagement in the European Research Area and its active participation in the Horizon Europe programme.
Participants will hear about the opportunities for Armenian researchers and innovators to participate in cutting-edge European research and innovation projects. They will also explore the ‘Pillar III: Innovative Europe’ programme, which will support Armenian SMEs and start-ups. Armenian researchers will share their experiences of participating in Horizon Europe projects.
The Horizon Europe Information Event in Armenia is organised by the Scientific and Innovation Partnership Assistance Center (SIPAC) – the Horizon Europe Office in Armenia – in close cooperation with the European Commission, the Delegation of the European Union to Armenia, and the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia (NAS RA).
Horizon Europe is the EU’s key funding programme for research and innovation with an overall budget of €95.5 billion. In 2022, Armenia became a fully associated member of the Horizon Europe programme.
The deadline to register for the event is 14 October.
