Voices of Europe: celebrate the Day of European Languages in Yerevan
EUNIC Armenia, part of EUNIC Global, invites pupils, students and everyone passionate about languages to celebrate the Day of European Languages, taking place today, 26 September, in the inner courtyard of the National Library of Armenia from 15 to 17 o’clock.
The event promises multiple activities, including:
- A joint reading of Yeghishe Charents’ I Love My Sweet Armenia;
- Voices of Europe: explore languages through crash courses, quizzes, and interactive activities hosted by different European countries;
- A collaborative poster: Europe Speaks Many Languages;
- A Children’s Corner with comics and literature for young readers.
Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Romania, and Sweden will host their own corners with special language activities.
EUNIC – European Union National Institutes for Culture – is the European network of national-level organisations engaging in international cultural relations. EUNIC is one of the European networks supported by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union.
