Few days left to apply for EBRD Civil Society Steering Committee
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) invites civil society organisations (CSOs), based in or actively operating in one or more economies where the EBRD currently invests, including Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine, to join its Civil Society Steering Committee.
The Committee serves as an additional advisory and consultative platform, designed to strengthen dialogue and partnerships between EBRD and CSOs. Established in 2024, the Committee reinforces the EBRD’s commitment to transparency, accountability and meaningful stakeholder engagement across all regions of operation. CSO representatives on the Committee are expected to act as a bridge between the EBRD and civil society in the Bank’s regions, with a particular emphasis on engaging local, grassroots organisations and communities.
The Committee will consist of 12 to 14 CSO members. The membership of the CSO Steering Committee will begin in January 2026. The term of each Committee is a period of two years (2026 and 2027).
The Committee will meet regularly, no fewer than four times per year and for any necessary ad hoc meetings. The dates of the quarterly meetings will be communicated in advance.
Applications will be accepted until 30 September.
