Azerbaijan: YEAs celebrated European Day of Languages Celebration in Baku
On 25 September, Young European Ambassadors (YEAs) in Azerbaijan celebrated the European Day of Languages by organising an engaging and interactive event at Caspian Plaza in Baku.
Dedicated to promoting multilingualism and cultural exchange, the session featured speakers who shared their personal experiences of learning Portuguese, Spanish, and German, along with practical tips and resources for language learning.
Participants enjoyed a series of interactive activities — from identifying languages in written texts and taking part in a Kahoot quiz to a fun tongue-twister challenge. The event was honoured by the participation of representatives from the Lithuanian and German Embassies, highlighting the importance of linguistic diversity and intercultural understanding.
