EU4Green Recovery East programme looking for regional communication expert

The EU4Green Recovery East programme is hiring a regional communication expert to raise awareness on the EU Green Deal and EU environmental acquis in Armenia, Moldova and Ukraine.

The communication expert will help highlight the opportunities of environmental reforms, raise awareness of the economic, environmental, and social risks of inaction, and strengthen political and institutional support within national bodies responsible for implementing these reforms.

The contract amount for 3.1 years is €80,000 (travel expenses up to €5,000 included).

The candidate should preferably have professional experience in the field of environmental protection, for example, as a public relations manager, journalist or in a related field, as well as an excellent command of English.

The deadline for applications is 27 October.

The EU4Green Recovery East (EU4GRE) programme (2025-2028, €21.3 million EU contribution) aims to accelerate green, inclusive, and resilient development in Eastern Partnership countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine) through policy reforms and capacity measures aligned to the European Green Deal. The programme is implemented by Umweltbundesamt (UBA – Austria), Expertise France, International Office for Water (OiEau, France), OECD, UNIDO, and UNECE, and involves government, private sector, civil society, and IFIs among its stakeholders.
