Sofi Abrahamyan

I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy at the American University of Armenia. Since 2021, I have been a Young European Ambassador (YEA), and I am currently mentoring newly selected YEAs and serving as a board member of the Armenian chapter. Originally from Nagorno-Karabakh, I am deeply committed to giving back to my community. Meri Batikyan

I am a lawyer from Armenia, passionate about education, empowerment, and social justice. Through my EU4Youth Alumni initiative ‘Youth Empowerment: SkillUp’, I support young people from rural areas in developing essential skills – digital literacy, legal awareness, and career readiness – via workshops and mentorship. I believe in creating spaces where youth can grow, connect, and lead change in their communities.

Arusyak Gyunashyan

I’m a Public Relations Specialist and graphic designer with a degree in English Language and Literature, currently working at the Youth Initiative Centre NGO. One of my key achievements is connecting my background in education with communication, design, and youth work. Together with Meri Davtyan and Aram Gevorgyan, we’re implementing an EU4Youth Alumni initiative for 13-18-year-olds in Artik. We empower young people through sessions on CV writing, time management, civil rights, communication, public speaking, leadership, self-development, goal setting, and discovering international opportunities like Erasmus+.

Maria Yesayan

Driven by a strong commitment to human rights and inclusive development, I am currently serving at UNICEF Armenia and have experience in community work through local NGOs, as well as in international organisations. My mission is to foster youth engagement in Armenia as a foundation for long-term peace and progress. Through the EU4Youth Alumni initiative, I lead a project that equips displaced youth from Nagorno-Karabakh and local young people in the Tavush region with essential employability skills, and fosters social integration through non-formal education.

Hasmik Torosyan

I am an environmental researcher and youth worker, currently serving as a Board Member at Youth and Environment Europe (YEE). I am focused on biodiversity, climate action and youth participation. My initiative, ‘Community Rangers’, empowers rural youth in Armenia to engage in civic life through capacity building and local advocacy.

Shoghik Ghazaryan

I am a youth worker with a professional background in biology and a strong interest in environmental education, social inclusion, and community development. My initiative, ‘Community Rangers’ in Oshakan, Armenia supports rural youth in building leadership skills and engaging in local change. My work focuses on creating inclusive opportunities for young people to develop skills, build confidence, and actively contribute to their communities.

Anush Mkrtchyan

Currently working as a Spanish teacher, I have a BA in Spanish Language and Literature from Yerevan State University, and a master’s in Intercultural Communication in Spanish, during which I also had the opportunity to study in Spain at the University of Granada. I also earned a second master’s in Human Rights and Democratisation at the Centre for European Studies. I am a dedicated youth worker from Baku, Azerbaijan, with a passion for unlocking the potential of young people in their personal and professional journeys. During my master’s studies at ADA University, I embraced opportunities to engage in international training programmes, mobility exchanges, and volunteering projects across Europe through Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps. I am a dedicated changemaker, combining youth engagement with IT project management to create meaningful social impact. With a background in information security, I have a strong passion for civic digital innovation. I have also been actively involved in initiatives focused on gender equality, conflict resolution, youth empowerment and civic participation. My project, ‘Vision in Action’, empowers young people aged 16-27 from economically disadvantaged families, refugees, and IDPs, primarily in villages within the Absheron-Khizi & Baku Economic Region. Zhala Mammadova

I am a maths teacher and STEAM Coordinator passionate about education and youth development. As part of the EU4Youth Alumni Network, I support my students in gaining new knowledge while ensuring they enjoy the learning process. My goal is to empower young people with the skills and confidence they need to succeed, fostering a love for learning in an inclusive and supportive environment that fosters curiosity, critical thinking and personal growth.

Aram Gevorgyan

I am a motivated student from Horom, Armenia, with a strong drive to create meaningful impact through youth initiatives. Actively involved in both local and international projects, I focus on building opportunities for young people to grow and thrive. With a hands-on approach and a positive mindset, I aim to energise and guide my peers toward active citizenship and social change. In our EU4Youth initiative ‘Beyond Borders’, we empower youth in Artik through interactive workshops focused on personal growth, leadership, and career skills. Maria Gyulamiryan

With a background in international relations, I’m passionate about empowering young people through education, inclusion and culture. Currently I work as a data analyst at ServiceTitan. With 8+ years of experience in volunteering, I am currently the Event Manager at the Erasmus Students Network Armenia, and mentor in the Young European Ambassadors (YEA) network. As an EU4Youth Alumni, I conduct an initiative, ‘Youth Empowerment: SkillUp’, targeting teens from Gavar and nearby villages to boost their software skills, confidence and provide them with access to more opportunities.

Meri Davtian

I am a motivated and curious young professional from Armenia with a Bachelor’s degree in Languages and a strong passion for youth development, education, and international experiences. Currently, I work as a Training Specialist at Tumo, where I support teenagers in building creative and technical skills. I have participated in two Erasmus+ programs in Spain and Romania, which broadened my perspective and deepened my interest in cross-cultural learning and personal growth. My areas of interest include communication, personal development, and creating engaging learning experiences for youth.

Hajar Bayramova

I work as a community mobiliser at the IDP Community Centre in Barda, a town where internally displaced persons reside. I have been involved in social activities since 2021 and have graduated from several development marathons as a role model. After completing my bachelor’s and master’s degrees, I started working on community-based initiatives in my region. In my current project, together with my team, we aim to enhance the social activity of 30 students, strengthen their networking skills, and foster cooperation among youth who don’t know each other.

Nigar Naghizade

I am Nigar, a specialist with experience in social work and a Russian language teacher. I am actively involved in the EU4Youth Alumni Initiative, supporting the development of young people by providing them with international experience and knowledge. My main goal is to empower young people in both education and social work, leading to positive changes in society. In the future, I aim to provide young people with broader opportunities and to support their personal and professional growth.
