Deeptech GigaHack, largest hackathon in Moldova, returns for an innovative edition
Under the slogan ‘Innovative ideas deserve to be created!’, the Deeptech GigaHack 2025 will take place at Tekwill, Chișinău, from 12 to 14 September 2025.
The largest hackathon in Moldova is organised by the Moldovan NGO Technovator, with support from EU4Innovation East, a regional project funded by the European Union, co-funded by the French government and implemented by Expertise France, Innovate Moldova, UNDP, and UMAEF.
For three intense days, over 300 participants will work together to prototype and present innovative solutions, with access to an extensive network of mentors, data resources, and a robust platform to turn their ideas into reality.
This year’s edition brings ten bold challenges from the DeepTech sphere. Participants will innovate in vital sectors such as EnergyTech, HealthTech, Finance, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, alongside CyberSecurity and Open Challenges. Each challenge is designed to stimulate creativity and address current topics, offering participants the chance to contribute to impactful solutions.
