The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development announced yesterday it had secured an additional €4.34 million from the Eastern Europe Energy Efficiency and Environment Partnership Fund – E5P, to boost waste management in southern Moldova under the country’s first large-scale solid waste management project.
This top-up brought total support to waste management in Moldova to €15.45 million (with the European Commission’s Directorate-General for EU Neighbourhood and Enlargement as the top contributor).
