EU4Youth: international youth conference in Moldova highlights civic engagement and European integration

[post_audio_speech]

On 17 August, an International Youth Conference in Moldova brought together over 100 young people from across Moldova, as well as youth from Armenia, Denmark, Ukraine, and Germany. The event provided a platform for discussing the role of youth in societal development, with contributions from development partners and representatives of the Ministry of Education and Research.

Participants focused on the significance of civic engagement and collaborated to draft a resolution reflecting the youth sector’s vision for Moldova’s European integration process.

Organised by the National Youth Council of Moldova, the conference was supported by several partners, including the ‘EU4Youth: Youth Engagement and Empowerment’ project. This initiative is co-funded by the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and is implemented by GIZ.
