Georgia: EU holds workshops for young leaders from Kutaisi
An EU information meeting was recently held for about 50 young people from Kutaisi at the Research-Intellectual Club ‘Dialogue of Generations’ (RICDOG). This event was organised within the framework of the project ‘REACT for Georgia (Resilient, Engaged, Active Civil Society for Transformation)’, and on the initiative of local young leaders.
During the meeting, young people participated in three activities:
- ‘Discussion on Narratives’ – a discussion workshop;
- ‘The Path to Europe’: – A board game about the European Union;
- Creative workshop – ‘Express Your Europe’.

The event was attended by Nicholas Cendrowicz, Head of the Development and Cooperation Section at the Delegation of the European Union to Georgia.
Young leaders selected in the Imereti region are implementing various activities within the framework of React for Georgia.
REACT for Georgia (Resilient, Engaged, Active Civil Society for Transformation) aims to strengthen civil society in the regions of Georgia, promote democratic governance and increase citizen engagement. Within the framework of the project, RICDOG serves as a hub for civil society in Imereti.
REACT for Georgia is implemented with the support of the EU and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
