Strengthening teacher management across Eastern Partnership: ETF publishes country profiles for five partner countries

[post_audio_speech]

As part of the EU Regional Programme ‘Supporting Education Reforms and Skills’ (SER) in the Eastern Partnership, the European Training Foundation (ETF) has published a new package of Country Profiles on Teacher Management Systems in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine.

These reports mark a significant milestone in the programme’s efforts to support evidence-based policy development and regional cooperation in education.

Developed in close collaboration with national authorities and experts, the profiles provide a detailed overview of each country’s teacher management system, including workforce data, key challenges, and policy responses. The publications build on insights gathered during the 2024 peer-learning event ‘Teaching Excellence – Empowering Educators’, held in Finland and Estonia, which brought together stakeholders from across the region to exchange best practices and foster innovation in teacher education.

This package serves as a strategic resource for policymakers, educators, and development partners working to enhance the quality and sustainability of teaching professions. It reflects the EU’s commitment to supporting education reforms and promoting excellence in teaching across the Eastern Partnership region.
