Turbota social adaptation space opens in Kremenchuk, Ukraine
On 2 July, the European Union and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), in partnership with the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine, officially opened the Turbota Social Adaptation Space in Kremenchuk, Poltava Oblast.
The new hub has successfully completed its pilot phase and is now fully operational.
The space functions as a comprehensive platform for integrated support for people in difficult life circumstances, offering a wide range of services, including social adaptation, social support, representation of interests in social protection bodies, psychological and informational support.
The centre is equipped with training rooms, a children’s facility, modern workplaces, and staff rest areas. In addition, confidential conditions are ensured for consultations between specialists and service recipients. This makes the space not only a place for receiving services, but also a support point for people seeking recovery and social integration.
This initiative is part of the flagship ‘EU4Recovery – Empowering Communities in Ukraine’ partnership between UNDP and the EU.
