Ukraine: EU and UNDP host training on mobile administrative services during war
Recently, the European Union and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Ukraine conducted a training titled ‘The role of mobile administrative service centres in times of war’ for the administrators of administrative service centres (ASCs) and representatives of local self-government bodies in Ukraine.
The event was organised in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and the All-Ukrainian Association of Administrative Service Centres as a part of the ‘EU4Recovery – Empowering Communities in Ukraine’ partnership between UNDP and the EU.
The course lasted three days and brought together specialists from seven regions of Ukraine to deepen their knowledge of administrative service delivery. Participants were introduced to the concept of a mobile ASC, a remote workstation, and a mobile administrator. Participants also received training on working in stressful and conflict situations.
The training session has played a key role in strengthening participants’ skills and will help raise the standard of administrative services provided at the community level – even during times of war.
