Ukraine: EU4Youth presents policy recommendations on enhancing youth advisory bodies
On August 9, the Ukrainian Youth Councils Association together with the ‘EU4Youth IV: Youth Engagement and Empowerment’ project, held a public presentation of key policy recommendations on enhancing youth advisory bodies in Ukraine developed with the support of the EU4Youth project.
These recommendations were presented to representatives of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, and the Kyiv City Council. The event was broadcast live, allowing the general public to engage with the discussions and stay informed about the proposed changes in youth policy.
A panel discussion on the relevance of these legislative changes in the context of cross-sectoral cooperation between CSOs, ministries and development partners provided further insights. The EU4Youth National Coordinator for Ukraine shared perspectives on the practical implications of the proposed policy recommendations.The Ukrainian Youth Councils Association, with the support of EU4Youth IV project, will actively monitor how these recommendations are taken into consideration by the authorities, ensuring that the voices of young people are heard and considered in policymaking processes.
