Young European Ambassadors in Azerbaijan celebrate European Day of Languages

[post_audio_speech]

The Young European Ambassadors (YEAs) in Azerbaijan have organised an interactive event in Baku to mark the European Day of Languages, celebrating Europe’s rich cultural and language heritage on 26 September.

The event involved over 60 young people.

The activities, proposed by YEAs, ranged from inspiring stories of learning European languages to fun challenges, offering practical tips and resources for language learners.

Participants also took part in lively activities such as spotting languages in texts, recognising them by voice, and tackling tongue twisters.

The representatives of the Lithuanian and German Embassies to Azerbaijan also joined the event.

The Young European Ambassadors (YEAs) initiative brings together socially engaged youth from the six Eastern Partner countries, the European Union and the United Kingdom to foster dialogue and to raise awareness about the EU and its cooperation with its Eastern partner countries.
