Annual Survey 2024: Ukraine

This ‘Annual Survey 2024 – Ukraine. Perception of the European Union’ was carried out by the EU regional Communication Programme for the Eastern Neighbourhood (EU NEIGHBOURS east). The survey was conducted in March 2024, using computer-assisted telephone interviews (CATI).

Eighty-six per cent of Ukrainians say their country has good relations with the European Union, with 96% aware of EU support provided since the beginning of the war. Nearly all citizens have heard that Ukraine has been granted EU candidate status (95%). More than half (52%) of Ukrainians have a positive image of the EU.
