Women with Disabilities Breaking Barriers

Women with disabilities in the EU’s Eastern Partnership countries face numerous barriers every day – from inaccessible workplaces to harmful stereotypes. The ‘EU 4 Gender Equality’ programme helps them tackle these challenges by promoting inclusive education and workplaces, sparking open conversations about disabilities, and empowering women with disabilities to speak up for their rights.

This infographic was produced in the framework of the ‘EU 4 Gender Equality: Together against gender stereotypes and gender-based violence’ programme, funded by the European Union, implemented jointly by UN Women and UNFPA. This infographic was produced with the financial support of the European Union. Its contents are the sole responsibility of UN Women and UNFPA and do not necessarily reflect the views of the European Union.
