Issues regarding the response to sexual violence and accessibility of services in Armenia

The study examines the legal frameworks related to crimes against sexual immunity and sexual freedom under the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia. It focuses on the processes for obtaining evidence and highlights effective response mechanisms identified through a case study on policies implemented by various state actors in the fight against sexual violence. The research primarily addresses issues arising from cases of sexual violence against women, as they are disproportionately affected by such crimes, and similar issues often recur in these cases. As a result of the study, recommendations have been proposed to address the challenges identified.
