Submission in connection with the 90th session of the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW). 

The submission is prepared by Legal Initiative, Lithuania-based Belarusian independent non-governmental non-profit human rights organization, in connection with the 90^th session of the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW). The information presented in this submission was prepared based on the analysis of the relevant open sources, reports and investigation materials prepared by Legal Initiative. The report includes following issues: torture of women in Belarus following the events of 2020, conditions of detention and torture of women in penal colony № 4 in Belarus, and escalation of repression against the LGBTQ+ community in Belarus.
