We are here: A qualitative rapid assessment of Gender-Based Violence among refugees in Armenia

This assessment examines the trends and risks of gender-based violence (GBV) among the refugee population in Armenia, following the influx of over 100,000 individuals from Karabakh in September 2023. The study involved consultations with 142 respondents, including service providers, refugee women, and adolescent girls, to identify the key needs of GBV survivors and those at risk of GBV. It also aims to highlight gaps in the existing services needed to address these requirements. Data collection was conducted in November and December 2023, with respondents located in Yerevan and throughout all Armenian marzes.
