Act to Drive Change: civic tech project competition and acceleration programme for Ukrainian organisations

‘Act to Drive Change’, a civic tech project competition and acceleration programme supported by the EU Delegation in Ukraine, invites civil society organisations (CSOs) from Ukraine to enter the competition for innovative solutions for European integration and overcoming social challenges. The programme aims to respond effectively to social challenges and community problems caused by the war, as well as support Ukraine’s integration into the EU.

‘Act to Drive Change’ is looking for projects that involve the development, refinement, or adaptation of civic tech solutions that:

  • contribute to the process of European integration of Ukraine;
  • simplify interaction between citizens and authorities;
  • increase the transparency and publicity of government activities;
  • contribute to the social cohesion of citizens;
  • increase the level of security;
  • promote inclusion and protection of the interests of socially vulnerable groups of the population;
  • contribute to the restoration of Ukraine;
  • simplify the process of providing services to citizens;
  • solve other problems that have arisen or become more acute as a result of the Russian Federation’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

The organisers invite charities, public associations and associations of local governments with competent teams, and relevant, innovative, sustainable projects, which will have tangible social benefits.

Following the results of the competition, 10 winners will be selected, each of whom will receive up to €35,000 to implement their project.

The deadline for applications is 10 October.
