CENN: EU-funded camp to empower women and girls in Guria region of Georgia

With the support of the European Union and the Austrian Agency for Development Cooperation, the Caucasus Environmental NGOs Network (CENN), together with the Young Teachers’ Union, has announced a call for participants in a civic education camp for girls and women living in the Guria region of Georgia.

The Civic Education Camp aims to empower women and girls living in the Guria region and to support projects initiated by them that will contribute to positive changes in local society.

Participants will take part in thematic lectures, develop critical and analytical skills, and develop projects aimed at identifying social, economic and environmental problems in the municipalities, and at developing solutions. The best project ideas created during the camp will be funded.

The camp is open to active girls and women aged 14 years and older, living in Guria.

The camp will take place from 1 to 4 May, 2025, in Bulachauri Green Centre.

The deadline for applications is 4 April.
