Creative Europe: new call for the greening of the music sector – open to  Armenia, Georgia and Ukraine

The EU’s Creative Europe Programme is seeking a consortium of at least three organisations to promote the green transition and environmental sustainability of the European music ecosystem. This new Music Moves Europe call for proposals has a budget of €5 million.

Organisations from Armenia, Georgia and Ukraine (as countries associated with or negotiating accession to the Creative Europe programme within the culture strand) are eligible to apply.

The purpose of this call is to select one consortium that will deliver on all three distinctive, but linked activities:

  • Carry out an assessment of strategic needs of the music sector in order to identify practices that require change, and a mapping of best greening practices in the sector.
  • Set up a capacity building, awareness-raising and training programme to help the music sector to improve skills and knowledge in order to facilitate its green transition.
  • Provide a financial support scheme to redistribute funds to organisations active in the music sector so they adopt innovative best practices for their green transition and environmental sustainability.

The deadline for applications is 19 February 2025.

Proposals must be submitted by a consortium of at least three independent entities (not affiliated entities) from three different eligible countries.

The Music Moves Europe initiative promotes a diverse, competitive, innovative and sustainable European music sector.
