€45,000 for emerging energy communities in Moldova and Ukraine to develop business plan
The European Energy Communities Facility has opened a call for proposals, offering access to a capacity building programme.
Emerging energy communities, including from Moldova and Ukraine, can apply for a lump sum grant of €45,000 to develop a business plan, turning their energy project into reality. This plan will be monitored and validated by the European Energy Communities Facility team.
The call is open for formally organised legal entities such as a cooperative, association, limited company, or similar organisation operating in renewable energy across electricity and heating.
The deadline for applications is 30 September.
The European Energy Communities Facility is an EU-funded project that aims to empower and support the development of energy communities across Europe. It will support at least 140 energy communities in developing solid business plans through lump sum grants and a tailored capacity-building programme. The project covers the 27 EU Member States, Iceland, Moldova, North Macedonia, and Ukraine. This initiative, funded by the European Union under the Life Programme, was launched in September 2024 and will last until February 2028.
