EU accession: public consultations with civil society organisations on the yearly report on Georgia

The Delegation of the European Union to Georgia invites civil society organisations (CSOs) in Georgia to contribute to the preparation of the Annual Report on Georgia 2025, which is part of the enlargement package.

For each of the criteria – political, economic criteria and European standards (chapters) – an evaluation will be made of Georgia’s progress since the Georgia Report 2024 (adopted on 30 October 2024). Progress will be measured in terms of concrete decisions taken, adopted legislation, measures implemented and structures currently in place and functioning. The reporting period is from 1 September 2024 to 31 August 2025.

Taking into account the key role of civil society organisations in Georgia’s European integration process and the contribution of international organisations and development partners to this process, the Delegation welcomes CSOs’ input in the form of written contributions that will be used in our analysis and in-depth evaluation.

Written contributions should be sent by 16 April 2025.

In addition, the EU Delegation will hold public consultations with CSOs in early April. The venue for these consultations will be announced soon.
