EU and UN Women launch new call for CSOs promoting gender equality in Eastern Partner countries
The EU4Gender Equality programme has launched a new call for proposals aimed at civil society organisations of the six Eastern Partnership countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine) promoting gender equality, women’s empowerment, prevention, and combating gender-based violence.
This call aims at developing capacity building, awareness raising, communication, social mobilisation and/or other creative solutions that will help draw public attention to gender stereotypes, social norms and discriminatory practices against women and girls.
The proposals are expected to suggest cross-country initiatives to cover two or more project countries.
Funds will be allocated according to the results-based budgeting principle.
The deadline for applications is 1 July.
This call is part of the ‘EU 4 Gender Equality: Together against gender stereotypes and gender-based violence’ programme, funded by the EU and implemented jointly by UN Women and the United Nations Population Fund.
