EU, Denmark and UNDP open call for applications for ENABLE programme – strengthening youth councils in Ukraine
The ENABLE programme, implemented by UNDP in Ukraine in partnership with the European Union and with the support of the Government of Denmark, has launched a call for teams of youth councils from Ukrainian regions. Priority will be given to newly created, inactive or renewed youth councils that are eager to develop.
The teams should represent Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Kherson regions. Young people from Donetsk and Luhansk regions, who are currently based in other regions of Ukraine, are also invited to take part.
ENABLE is a six-month programme aimed at strengthening youth councils through structured training and experience exchange.
The programme consists of three key stages of capacity building:
- first stage (25-29 May 2025, Uzhhorod): intensive training on the functioning of local self-government bodies and the work of the youth council;
- second stage (July 2025): intensive training on supporting the advisory function of youth councils and its adaptation to wartime conditions;
- third stage (September 2025): youth exchange in the peer-to-peer format.
To take part, please fill in this online form by 4 May.
