Europe Day 2025 in Georgia – join EU on 9 May

Mark your calendars for 9 May 2025 and head over to Expo Georgia to experience how the EU has partnered with the people of Georgia for over 30 years.

“This year, we honour not only our shared history and values, but also the powerful impact this partnership continues to have on people’s everyday lives — across every region and community. Join us to experience this partnership in action through culture, dialogue, discovery and connection,” the EU Delegation to Georgia said in a press release.

Europe Day, celebrated annually on 9 May, commemorates the 1950 Declaration of Robert Schuman, then French Foreign Minister, which marked the inception of what we now recognise as the European Union. In Georgia, the event serves as a reaffirmation of the EU’s continued commitment to supporting the people of Georgia.

The Official Opening Ceremony will take place in Pavilion 11 at 12:00.
