Fellowships for Belarusian lecturers, scientists, and PhD students at EU higher education and research institutions
The EU is offering fellowships under its EU4Belarus – SALT (Support for Advanced Learning and Training) programme for Belarusian lecturers, scientists, and PhD students who have suffered or are at risk of persecution from the authorities.
The fellowships can cover academic exchanges, research projetcs or internships at EU higher education and research institutions.
The aim of the call is to support Belarusian lecturers, scientists, and PhD students affected by the current political crisis in Belarus to access EU-based universities and research institutes through individual fellowship grants so they can benefit from access to higher education and opportunities for lifelong-learning in line with EU standards and values.
Grants range between €5,580 (for a minimum of 3 months) and €18,600 (for a maximum of 10 months).
The deadline for applications is 27 September.
Fellowships may start from December 16, 2024, and be completed by October 31, 2025.
