Georgia: EU-supported media competition in Samtskhe-Javakheti and Kvemo Kartli regions
The EU-funded Caucasian Environmental NGOs Network (CENN) has announced a media competition for representatives of central, Samtskhe-Javakheti, and Kvemo Kartli regional media outlets. The contest is being organised as part of the EU-funded project, ‘Empowering Civil Society for Inclusive and Green Recovery’.
The competition aims to raise public awareness about EU-supported initiatives supporting the quality and accessibility of social services, and the quality of life of vulnerable groups (elderly people, children with disabilities and special needs, women victims of violence, and others).
Journalists wanting to take part in the competition will be invited on a media tour of EU-funded initiatives in Samtskhe-Javakheti (Akhaltsikhe) and Kvemo Kartli (Bolnisi, Marneuli) on 16-17 September. Transport and accommodation will be provided by the project.
Entries (video/audio or print form) must be published after the media tour and no later than 30 September, 2025. Only those who participate in the media tour are eligible to take part in the contest.
The authors of the best materials will be awarded special prizes.
To participate in the media tour and contest, please complete the application form by 5 September.
