Horizon Europe: call for development assistance for hydrogen projects
The Clean Hydrogen Partnership has launched a call for development assistance services to hydrogen projects in EU countries and in countries associated with Horizon Europe, including Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine.
The Clean Hydrogen Partnership is a unique public-private partnership supporting research and innovation activities in hydrogen technologies in Europe. The European Union is a part of this partnership, represented by the European Commission. Hydrogen technologies have many possible applications across industry, transport, power, and buildings sectors, but without emitting CO2 and are instrumental in fighting climate change.
The applications must clearly demonstrate:
- alignment with the strategic priorities of the Clean Hydrogen Partnership (SRIA);
- capital expenditure (CAPEX) of at least €30 million;
- defined project outline and geographical scope;
- hydrogen’s versatility by supplying multiple end-use sectors and hydrogen value chain.
The Clean Hydrogen Partnership will select 15 projects, which will receive assistance services.
Applications must be submitted in English via a specialised website.
The deadline for applications is 19 September.
