SALTO: introduction course to international youth work
As part of the EU-funded SALTO programme, Agenzia Italiana per la Gioventù (the National Youth Agency of Italy) invites youth workers, youth leaders, and youth project managers to take part in an introductory course to international youth work – ‘Appetiser’. The training will take place from 10 to 14 November in Italy.
Appetiser is a training course which aims to bring together youth workers/ leaders, who work with young people in different parts of Europe. The course is aimed at those working actively at the local level and are willing to take their activities international. Appetiser is mainly addressed to newcomers, who do not have yet international youth work experience.
This project is financed by the participating National Agencies (NAs) of the Erasmus+ Youth in Action Programme. The participation fee varies from country to country. The Italian National Agency will organise the accommodation and cover the costs for accommodation and food.
The call is open to Erasmus+ partner countries neighbouring the EU, including Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine. Before applying, please contact the NA of your residence country to check if it is involved in this project and committed to cover travel costs.
The deadline for applications is 10 September.
The training is organised as part of the SALTO-YOUTH (Support, Advanced Learning and Training Opportunities for Youth) network, working within the Erasmus+ Youth and the European Solidarity Corps programmes.
