Scholarship for Belarusian master’s students to cover daily expenses during their studies
The European Union, as part of the EU4Belarus – SALT (Support for Advanced Learning and Training) programme, announces the launch of a programme for Belarusian students for full-time master’s degree studies in the Czech Republic, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland.
Belarusian students who are at risk of persecution due to their socio-political views or activities, or who have already been subjected to repression (including if the repression affected their parents or legal representatives, if this directly affected the applicants), starting from 2020, are eligible for support.
The programme offers a monthly payment of €550 for up to 10 months (academic year) and reimbursement of tuition fees through national support schemes in the host country. If parallel funding is available from another source, payments may be reduced proportionally.
The deadline for applications is 30 June.
The ‘EU4Belarus – SALT’ programme is an initiative of the European Union created to support Belarusian students, teachers, and academics who have been repressed because of their socio-political stance in 2020 and later, or who are at risk. The initiative is implemented by the Central Project Management Agency (Lithuania).
