The European Centre for Press and Media Freedom, mainly funded by the European Commission, and the Ukrainian organisation ‘Public Interest Journalism Lab’ have launched a scholarship programme for Ukrainian independent media on the verge of closure or working in the regions most affected by the war.

The organisers offer a monthly stipend of €900 to support the selected media during a period from four to eight months.
