Study Visit for municipal youth policy practitioners – open to Armenia and Ukraine

The Council of Europe Youth Department and the Democracy Reloading Partnership of Erasmus+ national agencies are organising a joint study visit to Strasbourg, France, for municipal youth policy practitioners.

The study visit ‘Local youth policy and democracy’ is scheduled for 28 October – 2 November 2024 and open for youth policy makers, youth researchers and elected local politicians from Armenia, Ukraine, and Erasmus+ Youth Programme countries.

The aim of the activity is to support local and regional authorities in designing and implementing participative youth strategies and structures for youth participation at local level.

The participants will familiarise themselves with the Council of Europe’s institutions, standards and approaches to local youth participation, and the Democracy Reloading tools and resources, as well as visit and learn from the Strasbourg municipality on the ways citizen and youth participation are organised.

Participation is free of charge, but please consult your Erasmus+ national agency as in some cases they request a symbolic participation fee.

Accommodation and meals will be provided by the Council of Europe in the European Youth Centre Strasbourg in single rooms.

The deadline for applications is 8 September.
