Take part in Europe Day in Kutaisi on 24 and 25 October

From October 24 to 25, residents and guests of Kutaisi, Georgia, are invited to celebrate Europe Day.

The European Delegation to Georgia will transform Kutaisi into a city of knowledge, tradition, and a truly European spirit, offering two days of music, art, educational, and engaging activities, fairs, and exhibitions.

On 24 October, participants are invited to take part in “Talks: Women as Changemakers”, organised in cooperation with UN Georgia; a documentary film screening Kutaisi Wave, directed by Ana Abakelia with EU4Culture support; an audio-visual exhibition ‘This Country is Yours’; a photography masterclass with Natela Grigalashvili; a photo exhibition ‘10 Years in Focus’; a 12-km Cycling Rally around the city, and the Europe Day Market.

On 25 October, the programme includes a walking city tour ‘European Kutaisi’; interactive and educational games developed by EU-supported projects; and a gastronomic presentation – Taste of Europe.

The festivities will close with a concert by the Georgian band Mechanical Rainbow.
